Internship at the World Values Survey Association: Call for Interns in Jordan
The World Values Survey Association Secretariat (Vienna, Austria) in cooperation with the Institute for Future Studies (Stockholm, Sweden) and NAMA Strategic Intelligence Solutions (Amman, Jordan) invite senior students and young post-graduate researchers residing in Amman, Jordan to apply for an internship at the WVSA. Selected candidates will participate in a pilot study on values, attitudes and perceptions of migrants and refugees in the capacity of interviewers and data analysts.
The overall timeframe of the internship program is from 01/02/2021 to 31/06/2021 with the exact schedule of work to be discussed with every intern individually.
An Internship will be organized as a volunteer (unpaid) feasible contribution of up to 10 hours per week. Selected interns will first participate in a 6-hours training course on conducting individual face-to-face interviews organized by the WVSA Secretariat (in English and Arabic). After this, every intern will be required to conduct 25 individual interviews with the migrants and refugees (in Arabic). Recruitment of the respondents and premises/ location for the interviewing will be organized by the WVSA. In the second part of the internship program (May-June) the selected candidates will be involved into the data analysis and research assistance.
