Mission statement and goals of the World Values Survey Association. A non-profit association seated in Stockholm, Sweden.
The World Values Survey Association is founded in order to help social scientists and policy makers better understand worldviews and changes that are taking place in the beliefs, values and motivations of people throughout the world.
The members of this Association will carry out representative national surveys of the values and beliefs of people on a global scale. Ideally, it would be desirable to include every country in the world in these surveys, and we will strive to include the widest possible range of societies among those surveyed.
