Cultural map changing over time

One of the main findings of the WVS project - the global cultural map which shows location of all surveyed countries and sociaties on the two dimensions (Traditional values versus Secular-rational values and Survival values versus Self-expression values) - is developed for each wave basing on available survey results. Following the process of value change, location of each country with regard to the two axes is changing and so does the map.

The new interactive map developed by the Institute for Future Studies (bi@bikupan.se) shows how the position of each country has been changing through the years of WVS survey realization: link to the interactive map.
