WVS-7 survey round: summarizing achivements and lookging for new opportunities

WVS-7 Round: Survey Fieldwork Update

In year 2017 WVS-7 fieldwork has been started in thirteen countries from the five continents - Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas (including Bolivia, Greece, Serbia, USA, Germany, Romania, Russia, Nigeria, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey, South Korea, and Ecuador). In year 2018 WVS-7 survey round is already scheduled to take place in Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Uruguay, China and Hong Kong, South Africa, Australia, Tunisia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, and many other countries.

As WVSA's overall aim is to cover up to 80 world countries in the 2017-2019 survey round, we invite expressions of interest from new survey teams, universities and research institutes in Venezuela and Paraguay, Guyana, Suriname, and Nicaragua, Guatemala and Panama, Cambodia and Vietnam, Mongolia, Afghanistan, Iran, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan as well as in a number of countries in Sub-Saharan Africa (please, check the map below for all countries marked with orange). Please, note that we are not looking for survey agencies to subcontract fieldwork, but for active and initiative research teams willing to join WVS Association and to organize WVS-7 survey in their countries as well as to participate in WVSA's publication, dissemination and capacity-building activities.
