The goal of the pre-releases is to make the first data collected in Europe in 2017 and early 2018 as a part of the cooperation between the European Values Study and the World Values Survey available for research and analysis. More than 22.000 respondents selected through the random sampling procedures, were interviewed face-to-face. The data is based on the questions of the EVS Master Questionnaire but does not yet include all harmonizedand derived variables. The documentation provides information on the creationand processing of national data, but still in a compact format.
